This is a really nice tea shop. The children had sausage rolls (which they loved) and a hot chocolate, and I had a lovely homemade butter bean salad with coleslaw. Great food. And the lady was lovely and knowledgeable about the area.

Absolutely fantastic home made focaccia, quiches, tarts, cakes etc as well as lovely groceries. I bought selection to have for my supper, and was so glad that I did and hadn't opted to eat out that eve, as it was all gorgeous. The Bakewell tart was heavenly. If I lived in Deal I would be the size of a house side, as I would be here all the time!

Just a few of the items I bought from this absolutely delightful deli. The owner (Eva) is super friendly, allowed me the time to browse at my leisure - I bought so much as gifts for people who enjoy the finer things in life and at very good prices. I also left with some leek quiche (devine), treacle tart (to die for) and numerous muffins of which one was an experimental granola muffin - all exceptionally light and tasty and everything was freshly baked. The takeaway coffee was of a very high standard too if you are particular about your coffee. There was a steady flow of customers whilst I was in the shop collecting pre-ordered home made bread, buying beautifully presented olive oils, local free-range eggs (oh, I bought some of these too) and a variety of cheeses, hams and numerous pickles plus other treats to tickle the taste buds. It was a lovely experience shopping in this little shop. This was my first visit to Eva’s Deli and most certainly will not be my last.
